Strawberry season at Green Bluff: U-Pick with Walters’ Fruit Ranch

MEAD, Wash. — The berries are back at Green Bluff!

Walters’ Fruit Ranch made the announcement Saturday, saying its strawberries ripened “seemingly overnight.”

The orchard invited people to come pick berries through Father’s Day weekend and again on Thursday, June 25.

It may be the last day for U-Pick until another crop of ripe berries grow.

You can head to Walters’ Fruit Ranch, located on 9807 E Day Rd in Mead, and pick berries beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday. The ranch says people are invited to pick until the berries are gone.

Going forward into the strawberry season, they advise that you call them in advance or check their Facebook page to know when you can pick again.

You can also check the Green Bluff Growers website for more info on Walters’ Fruit Ranch and other strawberry fields inviting visitors.

Seemingly overnight the strawberries have ripened!!! We have UPick berries until 330 today, and tomorrow, Sunday June 21…
