WSU playing Fresno State in Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl
LOS ANGELES — The Washington State Cougars are going bowling this season. And they will get to play in some nice weather, too!
WSU will officially be taking on the Fresno State Bulldogs in the first-ever Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl.
The Cougs played in the Sun Bowl last season, where they lost to Central Michigan 24-21. The last time the Cougs won a bowl game was in 2018 when they beat Iowa State in the Alamo Bowl 28-26.
The game will be played at So-Fi Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers.
The bowl is a matchup between the No. 1 selection in the Mountain West Conference and the No. 5 selection in the PAC-12. Click here to learn more about the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl.
Kickoff between the Cougars and the Bulldogs will be on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 12:30 p.m.
