WSU-Baylor Game Moved To Friday
PULLMAN (AP) — Baylor officials have moved the school’s game against Washington State to Friday night to avoid complications caused by the approach of Hurricane Ike to the Texas coast.
The hurricane is currently in the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to reach land this weekend.
Kickoff is now set for 5:30 p.m. PT Friday, Baylor announced on Thursday. Details on possible television or video webcast of the game are being explored and will be announced as soon as possible.
The game had been scheduled for Saturday at 9:30 a.m. PT and was to be televised nationally on Fox Sports Net. The game will now air on a delayed basis on FSN Northwest, starting at 11 p.m. The game will be on a free live stream on WSU’s athletics web site, wsucougars.com.
Baylor’s campus is currently scheduled to remain open and operational through Friday.
