WSP makes arrest in hit-and-run crash

Washington State Patrol troopers have made an arrest in a hit-and-run crash in Mead.

The crash happened on Highway Two and Walker Avenue just after 8 p.m. Tuesday.

According to troopers, David Snover, 48, was walking along the highway when he was hit by a vehicle that police said was driven by Todd Lester, 32. Lester drove away from the scene.

Troopers said multiple car parts were left at the crash scene. Troopers drove around the area and found a vehicle parked in a driveway that was missing the same parts that were found at the scene. Lester was arrested at a nearby home. He is charged with felony hit-and-run and was booked in the Spokane County Jail.

Snover was transported to Holy Family Hospital with unknown injuries. He was released early Wednesday morning.
