A Hobby Lobby in North Dakota was about to be robbed when a patch of snow stopped the would-be shoplifters cart, tipping it over.

According to The Associated Press, Dustin Johnson, 22, attempted to steal more than $4,000 worth of merchandise from the Minot store Wednesday. When his shopping cart was stopped by snow and tipped over, Johnson fled the scene.

Along with the merchandise, police recovered Johnson’s wallet, which contained his identification.

Johnson is charged with theft of property.
