…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS
MORNING…
* WHAT…Snow and rain occurring. Additional accumulations over
the northern portions of the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene metro
will be up to an inch above 2000 feet.
* WHERE…Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Worley, Spokane,
Davenport, and Rockford.
* WHEN…Snow will transition to rain from south to north. By 10
AM, little additional accumulation is expected in the northland.
Localized slushy sidestreets and backroads will make travel
treacherous through the afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Slushy accumulations will have the
potential to create treacherous driving conditions.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Winter Weather Advisory for wet snow means periods of wet snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
