…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON ABOVE 2000 FEET…
* WHAT…Snow occurring. From mid afternoon through sunset, look
for up to an additional inch of snow for Omak and Oroville. A
few spots above 2000 feet may receive up to 2 inches of
additional snow by late afternoon.
* WHERE…Omak, Okanogan, Oroville, Nespelem, and Disautel Pass.
* WHEN…Until 4 PM Tuesday. Precipitation may mix with or
change to rain This afternoon…especially below 2000 feet
elevation.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Slushy accumulations will have the
potential to create treacherous driving conditions. Elevation
will likely influence snow accumulations considerably.
Temperatures in the low to mid 30s may limit lowland
accumulations around Omak and Brewster.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
