WEDNESDAY MORNING…
* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Plan on difficult travel conditions,
including during the evening commute on Tuesday. Total valley
snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches, with mountain accumulations
near a foot, are possible.
* WHERE…Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, Priest River, Eastport,
Schweitzer Mountain Road, Colville, Deer Park, Chewelah,
Newport, Kettle Falls, Springdale-Hunters Road, Orin-Rice Road,
Flowery Trail Road, Republic, Inchelium, Wauconda, Chesaw
Road, Highway 20 Wauconda Summit, Boulder Creek Road, Sherman
Pass, Leavenworth, Mazama, Twisp, Winthrop, Stehekin,
Conconully, Blewett Pass, and Loup Loup Pass.
* WHEN…From Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heavy wet snow may lead to tree damage and
isolated power outages. Moderate to heavy accumulations in the
valleys will be followed by rain leading to very difficult and
slushy travel conditions. Significant reductions in visibility
are possible.
