Wind Knocks Out Power Across Region
SPOKANE — Windy conditions have caused numerous power outages in Spokane County as well as across the Inland Northwest.
Avista reports 2,300 homes are without power near Rockwook Blvd. on the lower South Hill. Crews are working on restoring power in the areas affected but there’s no estimated time on when the power will be restored.
Inland Power and Light is also reporting outages in Elk and Reflection Lake. There’s no word on the number of homes impacted by the outages in those areas.
Power outages have also been reported in the Spokane Valley, Deer Park, Lewiston and Colville.
