Jerry Rolwes calls this "I want that fish!" Jerry writes, "The birds are dwindling down in numbers and the confrontations over the fishing gets more pronounced but can happen anytime in a season. The seagulls are also pretty well gone which says the available fish stocks are depleted. The bird trying to make the steal is younger bird, note his tail feathers with some brown left in them."

That's no place for you, little moose calf! Mark Vogt Photography happened upon this unlikely scene, "I came around the corner and this calf moose was laying in the middle of the road. It didn't want to have to deal with the deep snow so it just bed down right in the middle of the road. You can't see in the pic but mom is off in the trees on the right."
