What should the new high school in Central Valley be called? Submit your idea

SPOKANE, Wash. — About 1,600 students will attend a brand new high school in the Central Valley School District when it opens its doors in 2021.
It’ll be located between Country Vista Drive and Sprague Avenue at Henry Road. Construction is expected to begin in July of 2019.
But before the new high school can welcome students, district officials want to hear your ideas about what it should be called. To give your suggestion for a name and a mascot, fill out the survey found on the CVSD website.
CVSD policy requires the name to fall in one of the following categories:
Geographic locations, historic events or physical features related to the site
National or international figures such as presidents, statesmen, scientists, artists, pioneers, authors explorers or persons noted for political science or military achievements
Persons who have had a major, long-term, positive influence on the educational well-being of district students and who have been deceased at least three (3) years
District officials are taking suggestions through this Friday. Name and mascot recommendations will be presented to the school board on November 13th.
