Chains required over Snoqualmie Pass

KITTITAS CO., Wash. — Chains are required for all vehicles traveling over Snoqualmie Pass.
I-90 was a mess Tuesday night as snow fell. Several crashes forced closures over the summit, but the road was reopened around 6 p.m.
Snow and slush are on the roadway. According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, travelers are experiencing up to 60 minutes of added travel time due to winter driving conditions.
