Wenatchee teacher arrested on child molestation charges
WENATCHEE, Wash. — A Wenatchee teacher was arrested this week on charges of molesting students nearly 15 years ago.
Joe Ells, 58, is listed as a first grade teacher at Columbia Elementary. Reports say Ells allegedly kissed several second-grade students years ago.
He was booked at the Chelan County Regional Justice Center on charges of first degree child molestation and first degree aggravated child molestation.
Ells is now out of custody, but is expected to appear in court before the end of the month.
