We’ll be getting some snow, but don’t expect it to stick around

Friday will be warm and breezy

SPOKANE, Wash. — Light rain and snow is falling across the Inland Northwest tonight, but it won’t be around for long.

Up to 1″ of accumulation is possible around the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area, but temperatures will be climbing overnight as a warm front passes through.

That means any snow that does fall at your house will likely be melting fast by the time the morning commute is under way.  Expect wet, not icy roads.

Highs on Friday will top out in the mid 40s, which is more than 10 degrees above average.
