Wedding Expo gives couples the chance to plan every aspect of their big day

Did you get engaged over the holiday season? Did someone you love? Perhaps you’ve been dragging your feet to nail down details. At Saturday’s Wedding Expo, 60 local vendors will be on hand at the downtown DoubleTree Hilton to help you plan and finalize details of your big day!

Organizers of the annual Wedding Expo said they purposely cap the number of vendors at the one-day event because they want couples to have a more intimate experience with folks that will make the dreams of their big day a reality. For $9, attendees can meet with florists, venues, officiants, caterers and photographers to discuss their plans and ideas. Some vendors will have Wedding Expo-only rates on their services for brides and grooms to take advantage of if they book at the Expo.

Vendor Shannen Talbot, florist and owner of Mountain Violets Floral Designs, said the stressful process of wedding decision-making can be made easier by knowing what questions to ask your potential vendors. She shared an important question to ask is if your photographer, caterer or florist books multiple events per day. Talbot added that it’s important to make sure you get along with the vendor you are looking to book.

The Wedding Expo will take place from 10am to 4pm at the DoubleTree Hilton, 322 North Spokane Falls Court on Saturday, January 4.
