Weber State Pulls Away To Beat EWU 74-64

OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Dezmon Harris scored 17 points Saturday night as Weber State beat Eastern Washington 74-64 in Ogden.

Adris DeLeon led Eastern Washington with 18 points.

Milan Stanojevic hit a pair of three-pointers as the Eagles went on 11-0 run to cut Weber State’s lead to 48-44 with just over 12 minutes remaining. However, Weber State answered with a 12-3 run during the next four minutes.

The Wildcats also shot 6-10 from the free throw line in the final two minutes.

First-year Eastern Washington head coach Kirk Earlywine was making his first trip back to Ogden, where he spent seven seasons as an assistant coach from 1999-2006.

With the loss, Eastern’s record is now 7-12, including 2-3 in the Big Sky Conference.
