Washington State stuns 8th ranked Oregon in Pullman

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State Cougars pulled off a massive upset at home over 8th ranked Oregon tonight 72-61.
The Cougars took a lead early in the 2nd half and were able to hold on for their second win in conference play.
CJ Elleby led the way offensively with 25 points, but the story of the night was the Cougar defense that held Oregon at bay all night long.

This is the first win over a top-10 team for Washington state since beating Arizona back in 2007.
With the win WSU improves to 9-2 at home this season.
The Cougars look for two in a row Saturday when they host Oregon State on an afternoon when they will retire the number of Cougar great Klay Thompson.
