Warm up inside the Davenport Grand’s new outdoor igloos

SPOKANE, Wash. – It can be brutally cold in the Inland Northwest during the winter. If you’re someone who wishes you could enjoy the outdoors without freezing, the Davenport Grand has your answer!

They’ve opened their brand new Outdoor Terrace Igloos. There are six in total, each designed by the Davenport Home store that feature cozy blankets, couches, chairs and boast breathtaking views of Riverfront Park. Each igloo also comes with a plug-in port so guests can play music right from their phones.

Reservations are required to enjoy the wintertime igloos that are designed to accommodate 2-4 people but can hold 6. The Davenport Grand said they envision them as being the perfect place to hold a girls night, a bachelorette party, a family outing or a date night for a couple or group! You can make a reservation here. Do so quick, though. Ten hours in to accepting reservations they already had over 100 spots filled. They will be available daily through March.

Guests can choose between 3 different “Grand Igloo Packages.” Each includes one and a half hours in a  igloo, $100 bar credit, a charcuterie board, complimentary parking at the Grand and a private butler, who will bring the drinks and snacks you choose to your igloo so you and your party don’t have to move! Packages start at $250 for 4 guests. Each additional guest is $12.

The Davenport Grand recommends bringing your winter attire with you — coats, gloves, hats and scarves. The outdoor igloos have heaters, but going in and out can create a chill!
