Victim in lower South Hill shooting identified

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Medical Examiner has confirmed the identity of the victim at a shooting that happened on the South Hill last Wednesday.
On Friday, the victim was identified as 38-year-old Ty Jordan, who died of a gunshot wound to the chest.
Jordan and one other person were shot at the intersection of W. 7th Ave. and S. Oak St. on June 23 at around 4 a.m. The other person was taken to the hospital for their injuries.
