Vice President Pence to discuss coronavirus outbreak in Washington Thursday

Pence to meet with Jay Inslee

Vice President Mike Pence will head to Washington Thursday to discuss the state’s efforts to fight the spread of coronavirus.

Pence will meet with Washington Governor Jay Inslee, who declared a state of emergency in due to the coronavirus outbreak in February.

“We are here for every American and will continue to work with state and local leaders as we protect their health and well-being,” Pence said in a tweet Wednesday.

Ten people have died from the coronavirus in Washington. 231 people remain under health supervision.
