Vandal football player cited for DUI

A University of Idaho football player has been cited for allegedly driving drunk and colliding with two parked cars.
Moscow police responded to a three vehicle non-injury crash during the early morning hours of February 2. Officers determined that Quayshawne Buckley crashed into the cars parked at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Julie Court.
He allegedly failed a field sobriety test and was cited for DUI.
Buckley, an Ontario, Calif. native who was a first-team all-California Interscholastic Federation offensive and defense lineman and team MVP at Colony High School, was a senior defensive lineman for the Vandals who played 11 games and started in eight last season.
KQQQ Radio confirmed Monday afternoon that Buckley has been dismissed from the football team.
