Two women crash stolen truck into N. Spokane taco shop, WSP says

SPOKANE, Wash. — Two women with active warrants out for their arrest crashed into a North Spokane taco shop on Monday, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Trooper Jeff Sevigney said the women were driving the wrong way on Division St. in a stolen truck when a trooper began to follow them. The truck swerved into traffic and crashed into the restaurant.
Both women were taken to the hospital for their injuries. Sevigney said they will be taken to jail once they are released from medical care and the driver will face a vehicular assault charge. According to Sevigney, the passenger suffered fractured vertebrae in the crash.
According to a Facebook post, the restaurant will be closed Monday. They expect to be open during normal hours on Tuesday.
