Two men charged with burglarizing home

IDAHO COUNTY, Idaho — Two men were arrested for burglarizing a White Bird residence.

On April 14, Robert H. Smith, 46-years-old, and Michael C. McReynolds, 29-years-old, were charged with Felony Burglary and Grand Theft charges in relation to the March burglary.

According to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, the case was resolved with the assistance of cooperating witnesses, and search warrants served at McReynold’s home in White Bird.

The items recovered included coins, silver bars, and solar panels.

Smith was released on his own recognizance, and McReynolds, who was already in custody on theft charges, had his bond increased to $50,000.

Both have been bound over to District Court.
