Toddler run over and killed in Wenatchee

WENATCHEE, Wash. — Police say a 13-month-old boy was killed when his grandfather accidentally backed over him in Wenatchee.

Sgt. Jim West says the toddler, Miguel Castillo-Martinez, slipped out of a house Wednesday while family members were working on vehicles in the driveway.

The Wenatchee World reports the boy died of head injuries at Central Washington Hospital.
