Three Seriously Hurt In North Spokane Stabbing

SPOKANE – Three people were seriously injured after being stabbed early Saturday morning at a north Spokane bar.

Spokane police say the incident happened just after 2 a.m. at the Double Dribble Bar on N. Division Street. The three people, two men and a woman, were inside the bar with friends and family when they started arguing with a male customer. Soon afterwards, bar security asked all parties to leave the establishment.

The argument was picked up outside the bar, and soon afterwards the man pulled out a four-inch, double-edged dagger-type knife and started lunging at people.

The suspect stabbed three people. One male was wounded in the leg and torso, another male was also stabbed in the torso and a female was stabbed in the face, back and leg. All the victims were transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center for their injuries, and all are listed in serious condition.

Police say the suspect is a Hispanic male, 25-year-old wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The investigation into the incident continues, and anyone with information is asked to call Spokane Police at 242-TIPS.
