Threatening Snapchat photo prompts short lockdown at Rogers High School

SPOKANE, Wash. — Rogers High School went into a 30-minute lockdown Wednesday after a student reported seeing a picture of another student holding a gun on Snapchat.
Spokane Public Schools spokesperson Brian Coddington said police and campus officers searched the school. They later determined what they believed was a weapon was an airsoft gun.
The school was put into lockdown by the school resource officer. The school was searched and after 30 minutes, resumed as normal.
Codington said the source of the situation has been addressed.
