Threat of afternoon showers – Mark

After a beautiful Bloomsday, we’re looking at a threat of afternoon showers.

Here’s what you need to know today:

• Some showers later
• Gusty winds tonight
• Warm and dry by mid-week
• A wet end to the week

Showers are expected after noon today and will stick around through the later afternoon.

Today’s highs are about average and it will be warmer Tuesday.

A low moving south of us will bring gusty winds and afternoon showers with mild temperatures. It will be warmer and partly cloudy midweek with highs near 70.

A big system moves in Thursday afternoon through Saturday with showers, thunderhowers and cooler temperatures.
