Third Street Gallery calls on artists for upcoming exhibit

MOSCOW, Idaho — The City of Moscow invites artists to submit work expressing their experience withe the State of Idaho for the Third Street Gallery’s upcoming exhibit titled “Here We have Idaho”.

Submitted works should reflect the theme of this exhibit: favorite places, people, viewpoints, and/or heritage in the State of Idaho. The exhibit will be in conjunction with Idaho’s Heritage Conference in Moscow.

The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.

Original work in all mediums may be submitted for consideration. Wall pieces must be framed with a wire hanger. The call is open to 18 years-of-age or older. Work may be for sale with a 20% commission taken into consideration. All artists are responsible for delivering and picking up their own work. All works submitted for consideration must be in good enough condition to withstand the ordinary strains of packing and transportation.

Applications can be obtained at Moscow City Hall at 206 East Thrird, or can be downloaded at www.ci.moscow.id.us/arts/Pages/call-to-artists.aspx.

Three digital images must them be uploaded to the City of Moscow’s website at www.ci.moscow.id.us/information-systems/Pages/File-Upload.aspx. Make sure to include the text “Here We Have Idaho” in the ‘Recipient’ field on this page. Submit an image sheet listing the artist’s name, title, media, dimensions, and date each work was created.

Completed applications may be mailed or delivered to: City of Moscow Arts Department 206 East Third Street Moscow 83843.
