The Shadle Library opens its temporary location at the NorthTown Mall
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Shadle Library has officially opened its temporary location at the NorthTown Mall.
Both the Shadle and Downtown Public Library are moving locations while they undergo renovations.
You’ll now be able to find To Be Continued, the Shadle branch, near the Buffalo Wild Wings entrance at the NorthTown Mall.
According to the Spokane Public Library’s website, the temporary location will offer a curated collection of books, music, DVDs and computer access.
The Downtown branch is scheduled to close February 29, and will relocate to the second floor of the STA Plaza in March.
These renovations come after a $77 million library bond passed in 2018, which aims to renovate the Shadle and Downtown branches, as well as build three new branches.
