The 12th annual Lilac City Comicon is here

You may not realize, but Spokane has its very own Comicon, and this weekend marks its 12th year.
Lilac City Comicon began back in 2007, and it’s only grown since then.
“We’ve grown leaps and bounds from 300 people in attendance to last year, over 6,000 people,” said Nathan O’Brien, Lilac City Comicon Founder and Coordinator.
The event has pre-sold out of VIP Passes, but you can still get in with single day admission.
Whether you decide to dress up is up to you.
“Yeah Cosplay is optional, but just overall, have a good time. It’s all ages fun,” Nathan said.
The event takes place at the Spokane Convention Center, and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Weekend passes cost $20, a ticket for Saturday only costs $15, a ticket for Sunday only costs $10, and a single day kids ticket costs $5.
