Temperatures Climb Throughout The Week
SPOKANE — With the little bit of cloud cover we’ll see for the week come and gone, a gradual warm-up is underway, pushing temperatures higher by the day until we hit the mid-90s for Hoopfest weekend.
Tuesday highs are forecasted in the mid-70s before Wednesday and Thursday creep into the low 80s. By Friday, we should hit the mid-80s before topping out at around 90 on Saturday and several degrees warmer than that on Sunday.
The sun will be shining unencumbered throughout the week, with the slight exception of perhaps a few wispy clouds Wednesday and Thursday. Otherwise, skies will be clear and there is virtually no chance of precipitation.
A calm wind will allow for pleasant conditions through Thursday, but with the wind dying down, any scattered cloud cover leaving the area and temperatures increasing, it’s going to be blistering as thousands of basketball players take to Spokane courts for the world’s biggest three-on-three tournament.
