Teens accused of killing Okanogan County man

OKANOGAN, Wash. — The Okanogan County sheriff’s office says aggravated murder charges could be filed against two 16-year-olds suspected in the shooting death of a man whose body was found Sunday at his home.

Shalin Alltus and her boyfriend Parker Bachtold were arrested Monday in Oregon and remain jailed in the Douglas County juvenile facility.

The Wenatchee World reports Alltus is the niece of the victim, 39-year-old Patrick M. Alltus. The two teens had been living in his home at Riverside.

Deputies also secured arrest warrants Thursday accusing the pair of taking a pickup truck and a rifle and shotgun that belonged to Patrick Alltus.
