Girl, 5, wanders from school prompting security changes
SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Spokane school officials are considering security changes after a 5-year-old student wandered away from her elementary school and hopped a bus to Spokane Valley.Spokane Public Schools says the girl left Sheridan Elementary School Friday afternoon and got on a bus. It's not clear how she was able to leave the campus but district spokesman Kevin Morrison says it's likely she was on a bathroom break and away from her classroom.
