Endangered northern leopard frogs hatched, raised and released back into the wild
Hundreds of endangered frogs were released back into the wild at the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge.

Female grizzly captured, collared in northeast Washington
A female bear with cubs was found roaming near Metaline Falls with her young. This is the first time Fish & Wildlife biologists have captured a female grizzly, which they say shows their bear recovery efforts are working.
