Ten puppies are starting a new life in Nebraska. They were part of 170 dogs rescued from a puppy mill in northern Iowa earlier in November.
According to the Stevens County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the hundreds of dogs that were rescued from two illegal breeding operations in September have now all been taken in by rescue groups.
Stevens County Sheriff's deputies seized 255 dogs from two illegal dog breeding operations Tuesday.
UPDATE: Ashley Proszek, the Field Operations Manager on the case for SCRAPS, said that the person that was running the mill is being charged on multiple accounts.
