Almost all of Washington is now under a drought state of emergency after dry conditions, extreme heat and little precipitation have plagued the state. Local experts have been studying these changes and are worried the path we're on isn't a good one.
The rain is gone and things will be warming up again.
April showers bring May flowers...and we are certainly getting a lot of April showers.
Temperatures should be in the 50s all week, but expect some rainy weather to accompany them.
Things are looking pretty good for the coming weekend and into next week. We may see some more light snow on Tuesday though.

Monday will provide a short break from the snow but it returns with a vengance tonight with up to eight inches expected for the Spokane area.
