The US Coast Guard extended the required safety zone surrounding active lava flows in Hawaii after a flying hunk of lava hit a tour boat and injured 23 people.
A lava bomb hit a tour boat on Monday morning in Hawaii, injuring 23 people, the Hawaii County Fire Department said.
A couple of weeks ago, Steve Hill's family packed up their furniture and valuables and left their property on Hawaii's Big Island for the mainland.
"You might want to step back," said Darryl Clinton as yet another explosion boomed nearby.
