The Moses Lake K9 was shot in the eye back in February, but is recovering well.
Moses Lake Police K9 Chief is taking a much-needed vacation, recuperating after being shot in the eye by a fleeing robbery suspect.
Chief completed his surgery at the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine today and is expected to return home tomorrow.
Moses Lake Police officers were assaulted on Saturday morning, forcing them to release K9 Chief to help end the fistfight.
