Late Touchdown Lifts Vandals to Victory

Mason Petrino found Jeff Cotton in the corner of the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown with 27 seconds to play, lifting Idaho to a 31-27 win over North Dakota Saturday, at the Kibbie Dome. The Vandals (4-5, 3-4 Big Sky) scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, including a blocked punt returned for a touchdown.

Bobcats Edge Vandals

 David Ungerer scored a touchdown with 3:07 remaining, but the game-tying extra point attempt missed and Montana State held on to beat Idaho 24-23, Saturday at Bobcat Stadium in Bozeman, Mont. The Vandals (2-4, 1-3 Big Sky) had the ball for more than 37 minutes and outgained the Bobcats (4-2, 2-1 Big Sky) 347-318, but two big plays helped Montana State score 17 points in the second half.

Vandals fall on the road

 Idaho football suffered a 62-28 loss to Idaho State Saturday, at Holt Arena in Pocatello. The Vandals (2-3, 1-2 Big Sky) scored first, but the Bengals (4-1, 3-0 Big Sky) rattled off 28 unanswered points before taking a 35-14 lead into halftime.
