Smoky conditions have closed the doors for one camp, at least for right now.
Kids ready for a week of fun at Camp Reed now have to get picked up and taken home. The summer camp ended its week of summer activities and camping just a day after they started, due to worsening air quality in the Spokane area.
Summer is nearly here, and with the pandemic almost behind us, that means summer camps are back for kids to enjoy!
Summer camps will be back this year after many being closed due to COVID last year. Like everything else, though, it will be different.
Thanks to a new partnership with Youth Family Adult Connections, or YFA Connections, campers will have the option to see an on-site therapist when they are away at camp.
