Swanky Sale Looking For Your Business
SPOKANE — If you have designer duds sitting in your closet or if you’re trying not to spend big bucks on your favorite designers a locally organized sale wants your unwanted treasures and your business.
For just $3 or two cans of food to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank you can hunt for some great deals on designer clothes at marked down prices at the One Swanky Sale.
It’s a shopper’s paradise filled with designer labels like Ann Taylor, Nine West, Bebe, you name it all at affordable prices. 71 local consigners brought in the upscale duds they don’t wear anymore. The merchandise is priced, put on racks, and the consigners get the cash if their items are sold.
“With this economy it puts money back into peoples pockets with stuff that they have in their own house,” One Swanky Sale founder Carrie Adams said.
Adams came up with One Swanky Sale after volunteering at a children’s consignment event. She says with people struggling economically there’s no need to give up the enjoyment of buying your favorite brands.
“Maybe you can’t pay $195 for them anymore but still like to wear the nice products, the nice clothes you come in here you shop for them,” she said.
