Suspicious incident on Adams Mall in Pullman may have lead to active shooter rumor

The Pullman Police Department says there wasn’t an active shooter in the city and that reports may have stemmed from an incident on the Adams Mall that took place around 5:30 pm Wednesday evening. Here’s the department’s report about that situation.
The Daily Evergreen tweeted earlier, responding to rumors, saying that police officers had called the rumors false.
BREAKING: A Pullman Police Department officer says rumors of an active shooter are FALSE. As far as they know, the reports are most likely referring to a suspicious circumstance that happened around 5:30 p.m. on Adams Mall.
