Suspect arraigned in 2016 wildland arson case

SPOKANE, Wash. — Similarities among several fires led investigators to believe a single suspect was at work in the Little Spokane/Rutter Parkway area, lighting fires.

A Washington Department of Natural Resources fire investigator was the first to identify a suspect. DNR investigators, as well as Spokane County Fire District 9 fire investigators, and the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, worked together to arrest and arraign the suspect.
