SPOKANE, Wash. — UPDATE: According to Spokane Public Schools Communications Director Brian Coddington, three students were arrested and three staff members who intervened in the fight were referred for medical evaluation.Students arrested, staff injured after fight at Ferris High School

ORIGINAL STORY: Just before 1 p.m., authorities responded to Ferris High School after the school went on lockdown.

According to Spokane Public Schools Communications Director Brian Coddington, a fight involving several students broke out in the school.

No weapons were involved.

The situation is now under control and the lockdown will be lifted shortly.
