Storm brings fresh powder to Silver Mountain Resort

KELLOGG, Idaho — Silver Mountain in Kellogg, Idaho is expected to see up to 11 inches of snow through Thursday, with more on the way.
Silver Mountain Resort Marketing Coordinator Willy Bartlett just had to hit the slopes Thursday.
Bartlett says they’ve had pretty good conditions at Silver Mountain, to mark the resorts’s 50-year-old anniversary.
“Conditions are all-time,” said Bartlett. “We just got a bunch of fresh powder and the skiing is amazing right now.”
It’s hard not to want to grab a gondola up the mountain, knowing there’s about a foot of fresh snow that has fallen over the last 24 hours, just waiting for you.
Bartlett says they’ve expecting up to 8 more inches of fresh snow on the mountain Thursday night.
