Stolen Guns Used In Fatal Wash. Shooting Rampage

SEATTLE — Authorities say the man accused in a shooting rampage that left six people dead in northwest Washington state stole the guns he used in the attacks.

Officials also say he stole the pickup truck involved in a high-speed chase.

Court documents unsealed yesterday say Isaac Zamora stole a rifle, handgun and ammo from a home near his mother’s in the small town of Alger, about 70 miles north of Seattle.

The documents also say Zamora wouldn’t discuss his specific actions with police except to say God told him what to do and told him to “kill evil.”

When he was charged in court last Friday, Zamora’s only comment was to twice declare “I kill for God. I listen to God.”

His public defender says there are clearly “mental health issues at play.”
