Starbucks’ new drink contains beef jerky

SEATTLE, Wash. — Starbucks has released a new coffee containing an interesting ingredient.
Q13 in Seattle reports that Starbucks will begin selling Pepper Nitro with a Jerky Twist at Seattle Reserve Roastery for a limited time. The drink infuses nitro cold brew and malted fennel black pepper syrup. It’s topped with a layer of honey cold foam, cracked pink peppercorn and a skewered piece of beef jerky. Starbucks said the jerky is made with grass-fed beef.
The drink could make it’s way to a Starbucks near you. The coffee giant typically tests drinks at its Seattle Roastery location, but it hasn’t been decided if the recipe will land in stores outside of Seattle.
