Sports betting coming soon to Northern Quest Resort & Casino
AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – You may soon be able to place bets on your favorite sporting events at Northern Quest Resort & Casino.
On its website, Northern Quest says the Kalispel Tribe recently reached a tentative agreement with the Washington State Gambling Commission to add sports betting. However, there are still several legal steps that need to be completed before bets can be placed.
Northern Quest says starting in June, it will begin revamping the Turf Club Lounge into a sports book. It plans to add a viewing area and says betting on all major sports, leagues and events will be available in person, on kiosks and on mobile devices while inside the casino. The exception is bettors can’t wager on in state college teams, such as the Gonzaga Bulldogs and Washington State Cougars.
The casino hopes the first bets can be placed at the Northern Quest Turf Club Sports Book in September 2021, just in time for the start of football season.
