Spokane’s historic Checkerboard Bar up for sale
SPOKANE, Wash. — Those of you who have been to Spokane’s historic Checkerboard Bar are probably familiar with its iconic wall decor and crafty cocktails.
Built in 1928, the Checkerboard Bar has provided service to Spokanites for almost a century. Now, it’s up for sale.
The bar’s owners posted to its Facebook page that it was closed until further notice in late November.
It was listed on homesnap.com last week for $255,000.
The business is included with the sale, as well as all equipment, according to the post.
