Spokane’s first Ukrainian market to raise money for civilians, soliders in conflict zones

SPOKANE, Wash. – Local business owners are coming together to raise money for Ukrainian civilians and soldiers in conflict zones. 

Spokane’s first Ukrainian Market will be held at the Anthesis Co. studio on November 19. 

Anthesis Co., known for its beautifully crafted floral arrangements, is owned and co-founded by Ukrainian sisters Lina Ulyanchuk and Viktoriya Kukharsky. 

The upcoming market marks the local business’ first fundraiser, which will be rooted in their cultural background and feature other Ukrainian and Slavic vendors.

Visitors can expect traditional favorites like pelmeni (dumplings), desserts and curated baskets courtesy of the local Slavic community. 

The market will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Anthesis Co. studio, located at 1003 E Trent Ave.
